Poor children are more likely to die from injury in the UK.

A recent paper in the British Medical Journal shows that a quater of a century after The Black Report concerning inequalities in health huge differences exist across different socioeconomic groups in the UK. In this study death rates in the poorest group were 23 times higher than for the wealthiest.
